Paul Creighton – Head Instructor
Paul then went onto Radford University in Virginia and tackled his Masters’ Degree in Physical and Health Education. While in Virginia, Paul began competing in many sport ju-jitsu competitions around the country. Creighton then earned an invitation to the United States sport ju-jitsu team try-outs where he won the middleweight position on Team USA. In 2000, Team USA traveled to Leeds, England where Paul was the captain and brought home the gold medal after winning the middleweight world championship title. In 1996, Paul began his study of Brailian Jiu-Jitsu under Master Renzo Gracie in New York City. He was awarded his black belt in September of 2005 and is currently a 4th Degree Black Belt under Master Renzo Gracie. While living in NYC, Paul boxed under New York’s famous boxing trainer Tom Malloy for many years. He has also traveled to the Catskills, NY to train with Kevin Rooney, Mike Tyson’s past trainer, at the Cus D’Amato boxing gym.
Paul has now blended all of these training disciplines together to create an academy that will bring you realistic and practical self defense for men, women, and children.
