Dear Parents and Students,

Once again, I hope everyone is healthy and fine during this challenging time. I wanted to give everyone an update on the academy. Recently the Governor told us that gyms would be able to re-open this past Friday April 24th. I had planned on sending a long email with our plans and what we have done as an academy to make this happen at CMMA. Initially, we were going to stagger our programs so that fitness classes would be started this Monday, Adult BJJ and MMA the following Monday and then Kid’s classes beginning at Stage 2 of the phases. Throughout this we would have been practicing social distancing and abiding by all the state guidelines and having all students 6 feet apart. Unfortunately, the state has put a halt on group classes for a few more weeks. We are hoping May 7th (or) May14th as a start date. Each phase is said to last approximately 2 weeks from reopening which would put us at phase 2 on May 7th (or) 14th. We have taken every precaution and have set our academy up so that we could have done this at phase 1, but unfortunately the Governors changes halted that.

Thank you to everyone for being patient through all of this. This is as frustrating for us as well. We want to get back to the academy and start living our lives like before!

Again, we appreciate everyone who has been able to continue paying through this. I just want to reiterate from our previous email that your classes/payment can be made up the following ways below. Unused payments will be credited through additional make up classes or a credit that we have in the options below. We have also added option #4 to help get unused payments fulfilled.

  1. If on a classes per week program: Make up any classes missed through any of our programs (including fitness). If on a 4 classes per week program and can’t make up that many classes, reduce to 2 per week until you make up the classes.
  2. Take one month off the end of your agreement
  3. Kid’s Classes: Put it towards kid’s summer camp
  4. Ten month monthly tuition credit: This option will simply divide the total amount of paid tuition for missed time over 10 months. So whatever your total amount of unused payment, it will be spread out evenly through a reduction of payment for 10 months.
  5. Unlimited Classes: Bring package price down to lowest package until un-used payment is fulfilled.

We appreciate so much and thank all of you for your continued support of the academy. We kindly ask those who are able to continue making tuition payments to please do so. All unused payments again will be fulfilled through extra classes or a credit in the above options. 100% of our operating expenses at the academy have not changed and are continuing to be paid. We will be here when this is all over, but without your continued support and assistance, this would be much more difficult. Spreading out your unused time/payment when we resume helps us tremendously. With this in mind ,we respectfully ask and thank you for not freezing your account if you were not affected. If you have lost a job and are unable to continue payments or have fallen on difficult financial times, we totally understand that!! If this is you, please just reach out to us.
