An amazing night at Helix Brazilian Jiujitsu with Justin Parsons, Shawn C. Bunting, students and friends! Shawn started his BJJ journey with me in 2007, 14 years ago. Along his path he’s had some great opportunities to train at a few other amazing academies. For many years he trained and taught at my good buddies academy Buckhead Jiu-Jitsuwith Samuel Joseph. And now, he trains at Helix BJJ with one of my first black belts Justin Parsons. Tonight, it was an honor for Justin and I to promote Shawn to black belt in BJJ. Congratulations Shawn!!! Very proud of this difficult goal that you’ve now accomplished. 😊
