A HUGE congratulations to Oleksandr Kasianchuk on winning GOLD at the IBJJF No-Gi Pan Championship!
The No-Gi Pans is one of the biggest and most prestigious IBJJF No-Gi competitions in the world — second only to the No-Gi World Championships — and Olek just became a Pan Champion!
When it was time to step on the mats, he went to work.
And Olek persevered and came out on top.
But this gold medal means so much more when you look at the journey behind it.
Olek started competing with us as a white belt. Early in his BJJ career, there were losses, tough matches, and plenty of disappointments… BUT instead of letting those moments define him, Olek kept training. He kept competing. He kept learning.
Over the years, he slowly built his game, developed his competition strategy, learned how to handle the pressure, and became a completely different competitor.
And now…
Oleksandr Kasianchuk is a NO-GI PAN CHAMPION.
This is what hard work looks like.
This is what consistency looks like.
This is what a NO-QUIT mindset looks like.
We know this won't be the last medal Olek brings home. We know he'll continue to compete, continue to improve, and continue chasing bigger goals.
But perhaps what we're most proud of is that tomorrow, Ole will be right back on the mats — training 6 days a week, getting rounds in, and being a great training partner for everyone around him. That's who Olek is.
The medals are awesome. The championship is incredible.
But the person he has become along the way is what we're most proud of.
Congratulations, Ole! You earned this one.
