Garret has been doing martial arts for most of his life, even moving to Atlanta specifically to study Kung Fu. Last year, he added Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to his journey and quickly became an awesome addition to the CMMA family.
From day one, Garret has brought a great attitude, a willingness to learn, and a friendly presence to the mats. We’re proud to see him earn his blue belt and excited to see where his BJJ journey takes him from here.

Daesung has trained at several different gyms throughout his BJJ journey, and when he came to us, he was already a tough and skilled blue belt. It was only a matter of time before he earned the purple belt he deserved.
Unfortunately, Daesung will soon be moving away for a job transfer. While we’re sad to see him go, we’re incredibly proud of everything he has accomplished and grateful to have had him as part of our team.
We wish you the very best in your next chapter, Daesung! Safe travels, and we hope you’ll come back to visit — and maybe one day come train with us full-time again!
