This past weekend the Kakuto Submission Championships took place where Chris Jones competed in the Absolute Division. This was a HUGE division of over 30 high level competitors ranging from purple to black belts. Chris fought 4 tough matches and clinched 3 submissions and losing to the eventual champion of the division. A big congratulations to another great performance as Chris brought back the bronze medal.
Also, congratulations to Tim Leslie who won his division. You can always see Tim training when he is here in town and even when he is out of town he finds a gym to train at. Your dedication and persistence is paying off. Look to see big things as he climbs the ranks in the Jiu-Jitsu journey. Also competing and taking a silver medal from Creighton MMA & Fitness was Alex Contrares.
