Setting goals and making them a reality is what everyone should be doing in their lives. Jim Terry does just that in every area of his life which defines his success. Jim has been training with me for 7 plus years now and sets individual goals for each year. This year he set a goal to complete 130 fitness and conditioning training sessions with me and he did just that!! What is so amazing about this is that each year there will always be obstacles that get in your way and make it difficult for you to overcome and complete your goal. Some harder than others, and Jim has had some of the most difficult obstacles and overcame them all! This year he was faced with having to have a hip replacement from constant pain he was having daily. He had the hip surgery and STILL made his goal of 130!! 2 years ago Jim had to undergo a triple bypass open heart surgery and once again STILL completed his goal, which he sets at the beginning of each year. If you set a goal you have to be passionate about it and realize it will not be easy. When you are faced with obstacles, look them dead in the eye and re-evaluate your plan and make adjustments that will enable you to complete your goal!
