Last night, Amanda Macioce rightfully received her Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt, and we couldn’t be more proud!

Amanda has trained at several gyms throughout her journey, but nearly 1.5 years ago she started to calling us home —and it has been an absolute pleasure watching her continue to grow, evolve, and push herself.

Her journey is anything but ordinary. A former professional MMA fighter, Amanda stepped away from competition to become a mother, then made her return to competing last year. Since coming back, she has basically done what Amanda does best: win.

Competition after competition. She has consistently stepped up, put herself to the test, and found a way to come out on top.

Now, she gets to add Brown Belt to the list...

And we're pretty sure the female purple belts everywhere are collectively breathing a sigh of relief!

Jokes aside, this promotion is incredibly well deserved. Amanda has put in the work, embraced the grind, and continues to represent what it means to be a high-level martial artist, competitor, and mother.

Congratulations, Amanda!

You earned every stripe, every win, and every bit of this belt. We’re honored to be part of your journey.
